  1. What was your situation before joining TASN — career-wise or personally?

Before joining TASN, I was already pursuing several passions as an author, editor, entrepreneur, and ministry leader. However, like many women building their dreams, I was navigating the journey largely on my own and looking for spaces where I could connect with like-minded women who understood both the challenges and opportunities that come with purpose-driven work.

  1. What did TASN give you — a skill, a connection, a shift in mindset?

The first African Sisters Network Brunch and Learn 2025 gave me something incredibly valuable: community. Being in a room filled with ambitious, supportive, and inspiring African women reminded me that collaboration is just as important as individual excellence. The conversations, shared experiences, and insights from the speakers broadened my perspective and reinforced the importance of building meaningful networks while pursuing my goals.

  1. What has changed for you since?

Since attending, I’ve become even more intentional about pursuing opportunities for growth, collaboration, and visibility. The experience strengthened my confidence in the work I’m doing and encouraged me to continue building my brands, serving my audience, and creating impact through writing, publishing, business, and ministry.

“The African Sisters Network Brunch and Learn reminded me that no woman is meant to build alone. Sometimes all it takes is one room, one conversation, and one connection to reignite your vision and remind you of what’s possible.”

    1. What was your situation before joining TASN — career-wise or personally?

Before joining TASN, I was passionate about creating impact and advocacy but often felt like I was navigating my journey alone and I also didnt understand how to do it. I had the desire to grow as a leader, expand my network, and learn from other women who were making a difference, but I didn’t always have access to those spaces and opportunities.

    1. What did TASN give you — a skill, a connection, a shift in mindset?

TASN gave me a community of inspiring women who challenged and encouraged me to think bigger. They walked the journey with me in what I wanted to see in my self and  It strengthened my confidence as a leader, exposed me to more valuable mentorship and networking opportunities, and helped me realize that collaboration is one of the most powerful tools for creating sustainable change.

    1. What has changed for you since? Anything specific is perfect.

Since joining TASN, I have become more intentional about my personal and professional growth. I have built meaningful connections, gained confidence in sharing my ideas and experiences, and embraced opportunities that I might have previously doubted myself capable of pursuing. The network has reminded me that growth happens when women support and learn from one another.

  1. I finally understood that nobody was coming to give me a handout for the life I wanted.

Before joining TASN, I was navigating a season of rebuilding after a major life transition. I had the passion and the skills, but I needed clarity, confidence, and a supportive community to help me move forward.

TASN helped me shift my mindset from simply surviving to intentionally leading my life. The CEO of Your Life program challenged me to take ownership of my goals, think strategically, and believe that my experiences could become my greatest strength.

Since joining TASN, I have become more intentional about my career and personal growth. I have embraced new opportunities with confidence, strengthened my personal brand, and continued building a purpose driven life while empowering others through my work.

  1. Before joining TASN, I believed that posting on social media was simply showing off. I did not see the need for people to know about me, and I was unaware of the impact social media can have when someone positions themselves well and intentionally.
  2. After attending 2  roundtable sessions after a month of joining TASN, my mindset changed significantly. I enrolled in the CEO of My Life program, and today I am comfortable posting on social media. Although I am still working on improving my public speaking skills, I am no longer where I was before joining TASN. I have learned that personal branding matters a lot.
  3. Growth in Confidence and Self-Awareness My confidence has improved greatly. I can now speak in front of people with much more ease. Through the self-awareness sessions with Coach Lulu, I have gained a deeper understanding of who I am and the importance of emotional intelligence.

  1. Before TASN I was looking for opportunities in my field but I didn’t know how best to get them. I didn’t have a personal brand,if my name was mentioned nothing could be attached to it
  2. When I joined TASN, I got clarity on how to build my personal brand and clarity on how to communicate my value authentically both online and offline.
  3. Immediate change happened. I started getting opportunities through social media and through referrals. Ive gotten clients, speaking opportunities and most importantly a chance to connect with many intentional ladies across Africa
